3 reasons why you shouldn’t push yourself too hard

hieee

Welcome back to Spectacular Selina! 👋 In this post, I will be listing 3 reasons why we shouldn’t push ourselves too hard.

  1. It’ll stress you out. And stress will make it difficult for you to fall asleep. 😴 Children (3-5) should sleep 10-13 hours of sleep (including naps). Children (6-12) should sleep 9-12 hours. Teenagers (14-17) need about 8-10 hours of sleep. Younger adults (18-25) should sleep 7-9 hours. Adults (26-64) should have at least 7-9 hours also. Older adults (65+) sleep range is 7-8 hours.
  2. When you want to be like other people, and compare yourself to them, thinking you’re not good enough. The more you compare yourself to others, then, you’ll forget your own way. If one day you think, “Oh, I think I actually want to keep doing it my own way.” you’ll realize, “Wait… how did I do it again? 🤷‍♀️” and then things will get chaotic. So don’t push yourself too hard to become like other people! You are amazing in your own way! 👍
  3. When you try to learn something new, and you’re not getting the results you wanted. Alright, everyone has probably had a time where you try something new, but you’re not as good as your parents, or the YouTube channel you’re learning from. Well, when that happens, don’t push yourself too hard by practicing for hours each day! 🙅‍♀️ That’ll only exhaust you. Take little breaks, then get back to it! And remember, things take time. Don’t expect yourself to be a champion the moment you try something. 🏆

Well, those are 3 reasons why I think you shouldn’t push yourself too hard. 😊 If you enjoyed this post, please give it a like! ⭐

Until next time! 👋

Yes, I did make a new sign-off! 😜

  1. Okay. This is super relatable. I have a test for Government tomorrow and I’m not studying write now because…….I don’t want to. No, I’m not a slacker…but I prefer studying when I actually want to.There’s no point doing it when you won’t understand a word.

Good on you for this post!

  2. Yes, I think this is really true.
Selina: Children (6-12) should sleep 9-12 hours.
Me: Lol, doctors say this too. I only get like…. 8-8 1/2 hours of sleep? Yeah, I may need to work on that…😅😂
